Install WaFloW.ai on GoHighLevel

This document explains how to install WaFloW.ai within GoHighLevel (GHL) and correctly link a WaFloW.ai subaccount with a GHL subaccount.

This installation is mandatory for WhatsApp to integrate with the CRM.


Before you begin #

Ensure that:

  • You have already created a subaccount on WaFloW.ai.
  • You have administrative access to a GoHighLevel subaccount.
  • You have successfully logged in to both platforms.

Start the installation from WaFloW.ai #

From the WaFloW.ai dashboard:

  1. Access the subaccounts section.
  2. Select the subaccount you just created.
  3. Start the connection process with GoHighLevel.

WaFloW.ai will automatically redirect you to GoHighLevel to continue with the installation.

⚠️ Do not close this window or navigate to another page during the process.

Once in GoHighLevel:

  1. You will see the official WaFloW.ai installation screen.
  2. Click Install to continue.

Select the correct GHL subaccount #

GoHighLevel will ask you to select which subaccount you want to install WaFloW.ai on.

  • Select the correct subaccount.
  • Confirm your selection.

👉 This subaccount will remain permanently linked to the WaFloW.ai subaccount.


Authorize permissions #

After selecting the subaccount, GoHighLevel will request authorization to grant permissions to WaFloW.ai.

Click Allow & Install to finish.

These permissions allow WaFloW.ai to:

  • Send and receive WhatsApp messages.
  • Create and update contacts.
  • Apply labels.
  • Enable automations and flows.

Completion of installation #

Once the permissions have been authorized:

  • The system will complete the installation.
  • You will be automatically redirected back to WaFloW.ai.
  • The subaccount will appear as active and connected.

From this moment on, WaFloW.ai is now installed in GoHighLevel.


Set up your phone provider in GoHighLevel #

In order for WaFloW.ai to send and receive WhatsApp messages correctly, it is mandatory to configure the appropriate phone provider in GoHighLevel.

Steps:

  1. Access the GoHighLevel subaccount.
  2. Go to Settings → Phone System.
  3. Go to Additional Settings.
  4. On the Phone Provider tab:
    • Select WhatsApp Connector
    • Type: Custom Provider
  5. Save your changes.

⚠️ This step is essential.
If the provider is not configured as WhatsApp Connector, the integration will not work even if everything else is correct.


Common errors during installation #

  • ❌ Selecting an incorrect GHL subaccount.
  • ❌ Closing the window before completing the process.
  • ❌ Do not grant all requested permissions.
  • ❌ Attempting to install without administrative permissions in GHL.

If an error occurs, you can repeat the process without affecting other subaccounts.


How to verify that the installation was successful #

The installation is correct if:

  • The subaccount appears as active in WaFloW.ai.
  • You can access the subaccount without errors.
  • WaFloW.ai appears as an app installed in GoHighLevel.
